AI Suggestions

Dalton's AI analyzes your page and suggests high-impact experiments tailored to your brand and conversion goals.

How AI Suggestions Work

When you create a new experiment, Dalton:

  1. Scans your page to understand what you do and who you serve
  2. Identifies conversion opportunities (headlines, CTAs, layouts, new elements)
  3. Generates variants optimized for conversions while matching your style

Brand-Aware AI

Suggestions are relevant because Dalton understands your page context. You can also add restrictions for compliance or brand requirements.

What Dalton Can Suggest

  • Headline variations: Test different value propositions, urgency levels, or clarity
  • CTA button copy: Action-oriented vs. benefit-focused messaging
  • Section reordering: Move high-impact elements higher on the page
  • New elements: Add banners, trust badges, urgency indicators, or social proof
  • Copy improvements: Sharpen messaging for clarity and conversion

Example: Section Order Experiment

Dalton might suggest moving social proof (customer logos or testimonials) higher on your landing page, above the fold. Testing section order can significantly impact conversion by building trust earlier in the visitor journey.

Accepting or Editing Suggestions

You have full control:

  • Accept as-is: Use AI suggestions without changes
  • Edit: Modify suggestions to match your preferences
  • Reject: Ignore suggestions and create your own
  • Prompt custom: Ask AI to generate alternatives with specific instructions

Custom Prompts

Instead of accepting automatic suggestions, you can prompt the AI:

Example prompts:

  • "Make the headline more urgent"
  • "Focus on the time-saving benefit"
  • "Use language that appeals to developers"
  • "Add a trust badge near the CTA"

What AI Can't Do (Yet)

Current limitations:

  • Cannot generate images or videos
  • Cannot suggest backend functionality changes
  • Cannot create animations
