Will Dalton slow down my site? ​

No measurable difference. The script is about 25 KB compressed and loads without blocking your page. In a 10-run Lighthouse comparison the difference stayed within normal run-to-run noise. Performance & SEO

Does A/B testing with Dalton hurt my SEO? ​

No. Dalton doesn't run for search engine crawlers, so Google sees your original page, in line with Google's guidance on website testing. SEO

Which platforms does Dalton work on? ​

Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Webflow, React, Next.js, Nuxt and any other site where you can add a snippet to the <head>. Installation

Do I need a developer? ​

Only to add the snippet once, which takes a few minutes. After that, tests are built, previewed and launched in Dalton without changing your site's code. Installation

How does Dalton count purchases? ​

On Shopify, through the Dalton Pixel. On sites that send GA4 ecommerce events, automatically from the data layer. Elsewhere, with the Dalton Pixel on the order confirmation page. Make sure purchases arrive

Is Dalton GDPR compliant, and where is data stored? ​

Dalton processes your visitors' data as your processor under a Data Processing Agreement, stores it in the EU and the UK, and collects no names, email addresses or form contents. Privacy & security

Yes. It reads OneTrust, Google Consent Mode and the common consent cookies automatically, and writes its cookies only after consent. You choose whether tests run before consent. Consent

What can I test? ​

Does Dalton work with Google Analytics? ​
